okie!...holi in India is on 4 March 07 wid 'holi' being burnt on 3 Mar 07....but here in Dubai ,we had the 'free for all' day ,yesterday wid kite flying and lotsa dancing (obviously after gettin a bit typsy:D ).....and boy, ask me what its to see the babes all drenched....all in all, yday was a freaking hell of a fun day and I can say that we did 'paint Dubai desert Red';) ....or more appropriately on holi day "color Dubai desert Red,pink,yellow and blue".:p

....had been for Nishabd yesterday...and just couldnt help complimenting RGV for the masterly direction in depicting the trauma a teen goes through at an age when she is so very vulnerable to changing moods and thoughts....how a teen, who has missed her fatehr's company during her childhood gets attracted to a fatherly figure, in form of her freind's dad (BigB)....how any humanbeing, who has been married and becomes old, forgets to enjoy the times when he/she was young...how he forgets to be childlike and enjoy the carefree attitude of youth, and then try to find the same by looking upto youngsters, envying their carefree attitude and indulgences.

That is the jist of Nishabd...which a normal Indian or a humanbeing has failed to understand and digest.

I fail to understand, when in Astitva -Ek Prem Kahani could show a daughter being attracted to her father (unknowingly that he is her Dad), then why such a hue n cry for Nishabd.
As has been said already, its only Amitabh who could have carried out this role......
