Need gem stone help

I’m trying to find 2 stones and set
for a custom ring as a "mothers ring"
does anyone know of a reputable "custom" dealer?
Needs aquamarine and amethyst stone only

What do u look for when trying to find the highest quality stones like this? Any suggestions on a nice "not gaudy" setting/layout? I’ve been on ebay for weeks looking for something. All I can find is huge or lot stones very confusing so please help me out

Guess what??? I found one other than ebay. http://www.gemmall.com is the places where you can get the stone you are looking for. I guess you now don’t need to see any other place. Well so far I have been unable to find a single place online where I can relevant info. on the proper advice of gemstones. So am looking forward to it also if someone could confirm me that all the info. available here can be trusted.
