Pak win sixth ODI by 159 runs
New Delhi, April 17: India have lost the sixth and final one-day international against Pakistan at Delhi's Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium by 159 runs.
With this, India have also lost the series 4-2. Shoaib Malik has been named the man of the match and Naved-ul Rana has been adjudged the man of the series.
Chasing a target of 304, the Indians were bowled out for a mere 144 in the 37th over.
Early setbacks
The Indians lost wickets at a regular interval, making the run chase an uphill task. Virender Sehwag was caught by Shahid Afridi in the first slip off the bowling Naveed-ul Hasan for 21 in the seventh over.
Sachin Tendulkar was bowled on the first ball of the eighth over by Rao Iftekhar Anjum for 9.
Rahul Dravid was run out via a direct throw by Yousuf Youhana from mid-on off the last ball of the 13th over. Dravid made 19.
In the 19th over, another direct throw from Youhana caught Yuvraj Singh out of his crease reducing India to 84 for four. Yuvraj made 13 runs.
Mahindra Singh Dhoni fell in the 22nd over. He was caught at long on by Shahid Afridi off the bowling of Arshad Khan for 24. Mohammed Kaif was trapped leg before wicket for 4 by Abdul Razzaq in the next over.
