Usually, Bollywood producers are said to get their inspiration from Hollywood films, even accused of remaking them. This time things are being reversed. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Munnabhai MBBS' is set to be remade in Hollywood under the direction of Mira Nair. The title? 'Gangster MD'.

The Sanjay Dutt blockbuster about a gangster who pretends to be a doctor whenever his parents show up, will feature Hollywood action star Chris Tucker in the lead role.

Filming is expected to begin after Tucker finishes 'Rush Hour 3' with Jackie Chan. The remainder of the cast needs to be finalized and Nair is on the lookout for Indian actors.
