Depression

Did you experience depresion?

Yes I did, and I do. I did very badly, I can't work any more, I can't concentrate, I can't like life. I just love life for small irregular peiods and I hate myself. I hate most of the people.

We all go through this phase some earlier some later.


My friendly advice to you is dont worry this happens to everyone. It will be over when you want it to. Gotta be strong. Talking to older people always gave me lot of encouragement and help me be strong. Try to pamper yourself, and be there for yourself. Be your own best friend. Dont stress too much, and dont let yourself down... working on self impromevements, school, job is good idea too.

Write out notepad journals in your computer whenever you feel like letting something out. That really helps a lot!! Just freewrite whatever comes to mind. Try it, ull like it.

And pls pls dont get into narcotics. Try to get a job too. Cash flow will help keep your mind off problems.

I'm sorry if i said anything wrong. Try to keep yourself happy. When emotion is a wreck, is when you need yourself to take care of you the most. Good luck and cheers.

I am worried becoz how will i tell my Parents that i have ruined my Semester exams....It will really hurt them

You have to tell them. They will know sooner or later. You have explain to them why
this happned. Convince then that ur willing to try better next time, that ur aware this
wont repeat again. All I'm trying to say is life is full of worries and drama. And this is when we start to face them and learn to be strong.

I understand life Danu.but dont know why God made me so Foolish .

God has his own reasons for doing so. We can question them but probabley
can never get the answer.

Maybe its gods way of showing love or what not. Every human beeing is foolish
in there own ways. We all have our lime light then the darkness. You just need
to be able to control it and go through it without less damage.

u think ur foolish, now u r so lucky that u know how to operate computer, ur so lucky that u know how to read and right u r so lucky that u can see speak listen, walk etc, u r not the only one to mess up the semester, there many people who mess up there semesters and they do great in the next one and they r good to go, it doesnt mean that u mess one of them, that ur life is over, u have a long way to go

i was born in india mumbai, stayed and studied there for 12 yrs, and than came to Us Chicago stayed there for 1 yr than came to New York and now stayed here for 4yrs, this is my last year in the school and than planing to take biomedical engineering in college, what about ya?

yeah ....its an Engineering Exam and one of the most Famous Exam of India.
So right now that means u are not studying in India....u were born in Mumbai and i think wheter u know about IIT Mumbai i guess..

Thats why today no body knows IIT but everybody knows MIT...Not even indians do

Indian Institute of Technology is one of the best institutes around the world, if u graduate frm here, u r starting pay will be more than Rs 1lakh, and u will get job anywhere in the world

Well i will try to go to better uni, anyways we cannot compete with Harvard, Princeton, MIT,Oxford because we dont put that much capital inflow into our Universities, if use that much money that they r using we will be way too high then them

Its hunger of knowledge..
...Most of PPl here are quite interested in making money...
India has n't win any noble becoz ppls out here are not so much interested in Research..yeah they lack Funds too...but studies here are quite pressurizing..
Money takes Priority here and there the institutes are quite older and PPls are too much interseted in research

actually here a minimum cpi is required to get an direct job placement..It matters dear though..but i can never ever get all A's here thats what i realized.

well, no i dont think so because as of now i seen in the school is not like that, here they have gigantic schools, when it was my first day, i got lost in the school, and india we have like very small schools compare to what is here, and here the students r all 3rd grade because they just dont wanna study they just bunk there classes and roam around they never come to there classes they fail, they dont care, and here they give all of the students free everthing is free in the schools and still they dont want to study if they give this kinda facilities in India i think those poor kids will learn on there toes,and i think in US no one studies but Asian and Some Whites.

thats too Mission Impossible for me....Believe me Rubz PPls here are very very talented ...those who get perfect study for an average 16 hours a day..

As Danu said depression's a phase eevryoen goes through at one poit or another in their life. The way it coems depends on their situations. True at tiems you can focus on most things, but the faster you get out of it the healthier it'll be for you.

You shouldn't ever hate yourself. A human achieves a lot more than they think they do, but they don't think of it that way. If you made a small mistake then leave it behind you and try not to make the same mistake again, but if you just stay in the phase of depression you'll ruin your life/future, and the lives of others around you.

If you ruined your semester tell your parents and tell them the reason. They should udnerstand, cuz most parents do.

And another thing you make the choice to sta in depression. Change your environment and your lifestyle and you should be able to get out of it and live a happy life.
