Teenage is the "in between age"
teens are too old to act childish
yet they are too young to be considered adults.
Teens are often stereotyped as being rebellious and "bad". Some are, Some are not.
Why do you think teens are stereotyped? What is the general description that comes to mind when one thinks of teens? Why is there this constant battle between Teens and old(er) people? is it justified?
teens...what is your description of a teen. do you fit those characteristics? have you been treated differently because you are a teen?
adults...what do you think of teens? what were you like as a teen? as an adult and as being a teen once (loong long agohttp://www.india-forums.com/smileys/smiley2.gif) why do you think society..mainly adults...view teens they way they are viewed? o you agree/disagree?
these are some general questions to get everyone thinking...you can talk about more than what i have included and you dont have to talk about everything i mentioned either

wen you're a teenager, there are sum hormonal imbalances or something like that in your body..cuz u're growing so fast...it causes u to do weird stuff sometimes..u get mood swings n wut not..more adrenaline rushes....u street race...lol...u swear at ppl...make and break friendships...
i think, personally, im a pretty well-balenced person...i do lose my temper, but i know whom to express that in front of..and whom to surpress my anger in front of...u know....
i have my ups and downs as well..just like any teenager...
but i think i am more able to control myself than many other teens...
and as for ppl treating me differently cuz im a teen....i dont see very much of that...i mean, ppl get de impression dat im pretty responsible n wut not....i get treated fine :)
well okay, sometimes we im wid certain friends, we been kicked out of places for like not even doing anything...lol..i mean, u do one small thing, and adults get so mad..they think we're all gna like...do something bad...iunno...prejiduce...but teens deserve it..lol...we're the ones who do the stupidest stuff, out of any age group, u knw..so i guess it's justified..

I don't think much about being a Teenager to be quoted as 'BAD'.. It is just how u wanna behave or want to be treated.. I do beleive at times older ppl can be hard headed and they do not listen to us teenagers but am sure there are plenty of ways for one to explain the situation.
I have not fallen in love till today being a Teenager I do not have and experience there but my elders do bug me at times saying who is this guy and that guy and stuff.. They keep giving me this so called SEX lecture at home.. Especially my Papa's side.. They are all so typical Indian ( born in India ).. Don't get me wrong I am not against ppl born in indis but please move along a little.. When I say I am single I am SINGLE..
As told before I come from a mixed cultured family. I am half DESI and Half WHITE.. But I still consider myself Indian cause I follow my Papa's side... And also the culture.. Anyways back to teenage stuff... Try to understand that being a Teenager is the best time for us and a tough time for those around us to understand so try taking some time to explain to them so wrong conclusions would not be formed....
