Akki paying tribute to his father!
For people who don’t know, Akshay Kumar has decided to distribute his forthcoming film Waqt. The reason for such an act was not known till recent. There happens to be a very personal and emotional reason behind this step taken by Akki. He says that the relationship shared between him and Amitabh Bachchan in the film is similar to the relationship he shared with his dad. “ It’s almost like an autobiographical film”, Akshay says. However, only when it was agreed that his father’s name would appear on the screen in the credits, did he take over the responsibility of the distribution of the film. His intention is to dedicate the film to his father. He also confesses that his character in Waqt is the closest to what he actually behaved with his father. Seems like the son wants to thank his papa!
