U.S-india nuclear deal

As the nuclear deal between USA and India took place recently,

the positive point is that India will come on the international stage as a global and nuclear power.

the negative point being India have to bow down to US pressure like keeping quiet on Iraq war, voting against Iran going nuclear, etc. etc.

so will it do more good or harm to India?
