Songs of Fire & Ice series by George R.R. Martin

The books that I've read in the series so far are very good.Lots of well developed charactors.Lot's of drama & conflict.It's a fantasy story of court intrigue & war,loyalty & betrayal.The forth book is out now I have yet to read it.

Street Lethal & Gorgon Child by Steven Barnes.

They are action pacted Cyberpunk books in a series about a ex-nullboxer/enforcer who is betrayed & imprisoned wrongly.He escapes & sets out for revenge,finds love & struggles with his inner demons.

Burk series by Andrew Vachess

A series of gritty detective novels about a ex-con/Private eye/vigilante who takes jobs searching to help women & children.Andrew Vachess is a strong advocate for children.He fights against child abuse & child pornography.These topics often find their way into his stories.

uum rubz, u can read The End of the Affair by Graham Greene. Its narrated very nicely...Its about a man who has a relationship with a married woman, but suddenly she ends it. You need to read it yourslef why she did it, its really gd :)

I have read uuumm Fair stood the wind for France by H. E. Bates...again a lovestory...its got to do with World War....The main character flies a plane and the plane crashes in occupied France..there he falls in love with a Frenchi.. lol

Its about a boy whose parents want him to get married (he lives in England) but he doesnt want tht...Then they take him to india...n leave him there...damn i frgot wht happend after tht...:$
I know this doens give u a clear view of the book but its really nice...its written by uuumm Bali Rai may be u know him...

Extremly disturbing - yet definately worth a read.
Don't let the first 2 chapters scare you - they're a little graphic.
It's a phenomenal book.
(I never read books - I'm only reading it cuz I have to - for English class - but if you get a chance and like reading books, then read it!)
I think girls would like it better than guys.

well i returned the book...and dont really remeber wht the ''blurb'' said :p

but its quite difficult to tell wht its about as it has 2 storylines...both about the same person
one stryline is written in the first person and the other is written in third person lol

but let me try...

Raju has just been released from a two yr sentence and he has no wher to go...so he goes to a temple where ppl mistake him for a holy man....he starts to play the part (thts wht the blurb said)

then in the story narrated in 1st person tell his life...he was a guide and started to have an affair with a married woman..who was actually his tourist...it also tells u how he ended up in jail...

i know this doesnt sound interesting :p but really its worth a try

nooo it doesnt...but it looks okay...

i need 2 find a time to go to da library....sooo busyyy
