Do you think that families are unfair that the boys get more rights and less responsibilities than girls?
Especially in Asian families, the girls are supposed to be stayig at home, doing all the house work whereas boys can go out and hang around with friends, and not even bother with helping with house work, etc.
Who's fault is it? Is it the parents who spoil their kids?
This also applies with the order of birth. First borns usually get more rights than others.
Whats your take on it?

In the longer run the girls are the ones who have to do like freakin everything...(with an an exception of some guys)...
I mean girls have to cook, clean the house, and do other chores whereas guys just get freedom which is totally wrong...
Now in my own case...my two older brothers do absolutely nothing most of the time...My dad doesn't either...
It's mostly my mom, me, and my sister... I dont know what other cases might be...
I have friends where the dad does most of the work and the mom just enjoys...
But I dont know...Girls just have more responsibilites..:/

but wuts posotive bout working as hard as your hubby (sumtimes harder) and then coming home to cook n clean..and finding the house in an awful mess..wid kids running around...while yer hubby's screaming at you and wut not..i dont see anything positive there...

Ummm...these aren't really facts. From a girl's perspective it seems that guys don't do as much work, but they do a lot. It takes them time, but they do a lot of work as well. Many guys have a lot more responsibilities than girls.
Saying that in Asian families the girls are suppose to stay at hoem and doall the work and the guys can go out and have no part in the house work is not true. It's the 21st centuray and many families have given girls and guys the same rights and freedom, some have give more to another, but they certainly have not be more in favour for a guy.
Technically you can't blame just one side, for any situation there are two sides and both side are involved somehow. So both sides are at fault, but I still wouldn't say that guys have less responsibilities.
Not all first borns get more rights and freedom. I know many people who are the first child and yet they have fewer rights than their siblings.
To a girl it seems like a guy doesn't do much, but what we don't see it how hard some of them work. Girls tend to show how much they've done and guys don't show it as much. That doesn't mean they don't do as much.

My baby bro sometimes helps my mom when she cooks and stuff and they clean their own room too.But to be honest i wouldnt sent a man to do a womans job cause thn you gotta run after it.When guys offer to help most of the time we(girls) say no cause we know they wont be able to do it the way we really want them to and besides when a guy can cook clean and help around he is very fast labled as Gay.
