I need you to be a little specific on what you're stuck on.

Percentage (%) basically means
out of 100

PER - Out Of
CENT - 100

Out of is division

so If I told you what is 25% of £14.50
You should think in your head (or type in the calc) 25 / 100 * 14.50

* - this is times symbol
/ - this is divide symbol

If you be more specific, I'll help out even more so you'll be ready to tackle any percentages!

An equilateral triangle has three properties which are equal (60 degrees in each corner) which adds up to 180 degrees (usually all triangles add upto 180 degrees)

for example :
to square the number with 5 at the end, 15 25 35 45....
first u know u have 5 at the end so first u put 25 at the end in da ans so

35^2 = **25 right?

then the first number is 3 in 35 and 4 comes after three so u multiply 3 to 4 and u get 12 so thats first two numbers

ur answer is
35^2 = 1225
45^2 = 2025 4 times 5
55^2 = 3025 5 times 6

Three people check into a hotel. They pay $10 each ($30) to the manager and go to their room. The manager finds out that the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bell-boy to return. On the way to the room the bell-boy reasons that $5 would be difficult to share among three people, so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person. Now, each person paid $10 and got back $1. So they paid $9 each, totalling $27. The bell-boy has $2, totalling $29. Where is the remaining dollar?

Ok I can prove that 2 = 1. Here it goes....

(1) X=Y ; Given
(2) X^2=XY ; Multiply both sides by X
(3) X^2-Y^2=XY-Y^2 ; Subtract Y^2 from both sides
(4) (X+Y)(X-Y)=Y(X-Y) ; Factor
(5) X+Y=Y ; Cancel out (X-Y) term
(6) 2Y=Y ; Substitute X for Y, by equation 1
(7) 2=1 ; Divide both sides by Y

first last number square 3^2 = 9
then 2(2)(3) == 12 << 2 goes in answer and 1 remainin
now 2^2 = 4 + 1 = 5 << (remainin 1)

so 23^2 == 529 :D

Fractions Summary

you need to know:

Recipicols is an inverted operation, meaning recipicol of 1/2 (half) is 2/1 (two)

Always change the denominator (to a common one) to subtract or add.

When multiplying, just multiply top and bottom.
