Its just a part of life,in some cultures its normal and in some not.To say ''i hate it'' is really harsh,cause yer hearting someone.its what they find normal,just accept it.

in India its normal and been tradition to marry within family...and i dont find anything wrong in it

It's the things they show here....I'm not sure if it's 50%...but if within your family people have been getting married to cousins throughout generations then it's likely that their kids can be born disabled. Mostly related to Asians since it is mostly within Asian families where people get married to their cousins.

It's actually sick when first cousins get married...'cause they're practically seen as brothers and sisters (well it's how I'd see it)...and yes it does happen. BUT, then again...not everyone sees it that way.

Awww...well y'know obviously now opinions have changed...but y'know they did actually do that before and I think still many do...so...y'know. Plus, the reason why they do that also (according to my parents an' all) is because since parents are normally the ones who arrange marriages they're like only gonna get you married to someone who they think is good enough. So, the only people they know well enough tend to be nearby relatives...people with in the family which is why individuals get married to their cousins.

I still don't agree with the whole idea (getting married to a cousin) but there's always two sides to a story.
