hey ppl...i have a bunch of rules that i got frm the internet and they are associated with different dresses for different body types:
Hourglass: (bust and hips are equal size and waist is 9 inches smaller)
for an hourglass figure...u would want to emphasize on ur whole figure and give the illusion of neverending shape. an amazing dress for your body type would be the one that hugs ur whole body and flares off at the end:

if u are uncomfortable with the amount of skin being revealed at the top u can always wear a shrug:

this is just an example of a shrug...the real kinds for dresses come in very beautiful colours and designs.

pear shaped: (when the hip size is superior to the bust and the waist size and shoulders are narrow)
for a pear body type, try enhancing ur bust size by getting a dress that would only emphasize the upper area. mostly a halter top that finishes at the back could do this emphasizing.

if u have fairly large hips then it is best if u get something that flares off at the end so it makes the illusion of ...again...neverending curves. like the picture above and below:

Triangle: (when the shoulder size is broad and starting from the bust down the sizes keep getting fairly smaller OR when the shoulder size is superior to most sizes)
for this body type, things like halters make a woman look manly...straight up...and if desired a proper dress then get something that will again give the illusion of shape, shape and more shape. things that compliment the shoulders are wide necked, and off shouldered dresses and ponchos:

this body type is when your waist size is superior to both your hips and bust. For this body shape, best dresses are ones that look two pieced and cut of at the middle with a flared skirt:

if ur looking for somethig short then heres ur dress:
