In the Company of 'RGV'
Sunday night and I'm at the Hyatt bar, Stax and while walking in
notice Ram Gopal Varma, in his trademark tight shirt, sitting in a
corner, looking quite happy. I wonder why, until I see Antara Mali in
an obscenely short skirt join him at his table. Director's do have
their perks I guess. And to top it all off Antara picks up the tab!
What more really, can a guy ask for?

Ra Ra Ra
Wednesday night, Ra is the lucky place this time that gets my money. I
push up to the bar and realize I am standing next to twins! Model twins,
yummy! Tapur and Tupur Chatterjee actually, who I believe may be the
only twins in the Indian modelling business. A few beers later I'm
contemplating the air-conditioning and suddenly Amisha Patel rushes
onto the dance floor right in front of me and starts to gyrate
energetically with her bespectacled partner. The DJ announces that
it's her birthday, and I see reason for all the enthusiasm. The only
thing as always that strikes me first about her is how short she is!
They look so much taller on the damn screen! Well, she gyrates all the
way across the floor to open a bottle of champagne and I gyrate out of
the door and downstairs into the Provogue Lounge!
