Sunil Dutt has passed away at the age of 74 due to a heart attack. Hindi Cinema has lost another great actor...Sunil Dutt was not only one of my favourites, but also someone i used to find handsome in his time because he mostly played the role of this softhearted caring understanding romantic, or someone innocent etc.
Favourites roles/scenes/moments:
Mother India-he played the bitter son who's anger overtook him and lead him to the wrong path. Sunil Dutt was just awesome in this movie...i loved the movie, and i loved him in this movie...
Sujata-he was my dream man in this movie lol. He loved Sujata no matter what her caste was, his character was so sweet, understanding, and open minded...the song he sang, Jalte Hai Jis Ke liye, is one of my favourites, i just love the way it was filmed
His love story: He fell in love with nargis during the shoot of mother india. In one scene, there is a huge fire, however, in real life, the fire on the sets went out of control, and actress Nargis was caught in it, so Sunil Dutt ran in and saved her, they fell in love, and got married....awwwww
Munnabhai MBBS-another favourite of mine, although his role was short, it was his last role in hindi cinema, it was only fitting he played the father to his real son, and was in such a fun loving film
He was in many other movies, such as Milan, Gumrah, Mere Saaya etc, movies in which he's recieved a lot of acclaim. He was a great actor... :)
