Next 'Harry Potter' film to be delayed eight months Warner Bros. says the schedule shift from November will take advantage of a summer short of blockbusters. Warner Bros. shocked fans around the globe Thursday when it announced that " Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth installment in the massively successful film franchise about a young wizard and his friends, would not hit theaters in November as planned. This was nice info about it let me check this out at NOV'2008. Red Angel 11-09-2008, 04:37 PM I was so furious when I heard that....why have they delayed it?!!! LOL! Was looking forward to it. Hopefully they'll do justice to the book (Yes Ruby, I've read it!! Shocking I know.)...'cause they really messed up on number 5. They missed out so many important bits - Harry and Sirius bonding, the conversation in Dumbledore's office towards the end of the book (which I felt was a key part of the book). "Harrty Potter and the half blood prince film" was ok, not bad.
